Tutor responsibilities start from connecting with students, help them in homework, demonstrate topics with simple examples, encouraging students to ask questions, easing the complexity, and help them grasp the fundamentals with more precision.
There are many ways for checking students in their Math skills. But the best is with written tests and continuous practice. Though mock questioning can help them in understanding the concepts and topics. Still, written methods help to improve overall student’s caliber and precision over time.
Sessions are generally 2 Hours long. I plan according to topic and student requirements. I will be available 10 minutes in advance to let things settle down and start calmly. These sessions can stay short or long as per the topic or requirements.
Yes, I am also available online for Math classes. You can connect me on Skype, Zoom, Google meet, or any other platform for a live video session. All the sessions are pre-scheduled to avoid any confusion. Students can join the session 10 minutes before to get comfortable.
With Online medium, options are plenty with videos, virtual whiteboard, document collaboration, screen recording, homework, course builder, Questions and Answers in a series, and many more.
Before starting classes, parents can discuss the arrangement for discussion as per their choice. They can also sit in a few classes and observe from afar or check my lessons from the video recording. I generally recommend one session every month to keep them aware of their ward progress.
